Hey guys, I just wanted to check in and say hello!
I've been getting some really amazing fan mail already, which is awesome for anyone, but for a new pen name it's extra special. I'm so glad you all are loving Tarik and eagerly awaiting Raath's book. Depending on the reception of this series, I will likely take it to four or even six books.
As a favor to me, would you please leave a review for Tarik if you've read and loved it?
It's such a nice day here in Ohio today--breezy and 70's--and not even the high humidity can hurt this day. I'm looking forward to Fall--but then, I'm always looking forward to Fall. The last couple of years it's been a little late in coming and warm when it gets here, but still. I love it!

And when the music swells with my voice, not one person in the audience moves. The camera turns from Raath, standing among the dead and the injured, then moves to the stands. It slides slowly down the rows, over the faces, and I see something besides bloodthirsty callousness in their eyes.
They are transfixed, their stares on their gladiator, and for a little while, they are moved. These hardened, cold, free people are moved. Something long forgotten awakens in their hearts.
And finally, Raath turns and lifts his face to me.
I let my voice trail off, and I press my palm to the wall of glass in front of me. I don’t if he can see me. Maybe just the shadow of me, but he knows I’m here, watching him. This gladiator is not going to be easy. He’s not going to be soft.
But one way or the other, he’s going to be mine.
